Just As Long As We’re Together – Judy Blume
2. If you were stranded on that proverbial desert island (again!), what book or books (up to 5) would you want to have with you?
Some nice steamy romance novels by Julia Quinn (probably the ones from the Bridgerton series…but don’t make me choose just five!!)
3. What was the first “naughty” book you read and in what way was it naughty?
My mom had surgery when I was a freshman in high school and my aunt (who writes erotica) sent her a bunch of books to keep her occupied while she had to lay on her back all day. One of them was a romance novel that took place in Ireland. It had some nice and steamy scenes and the title was something ridiculous like His Wild Kiss or something. It’s still in my parents’ house somewhere.
4. If you were to publish your autobiography today, what would be the title?
Success, Virgin Style. On paper, I’ve achieved almost every goal I set out to do when I was 8 (minus for that whole become Mariah Carey thing) except be married and have kids. I was recently out to drinks with friends who were all discussing their 23-24 yr old focus-less lives and everyone went around the table, laughing that at 23, I’ve got it all. Except for the sex life I need.
5. Would you rather look at nude pictures/pornography or read erotic fiction and why?
Looking at porn leaves very little to the imagination and very rarely do I watch it and think ‘wow…those people are just doing everything perfectly’. Reading erotic fiction allows my brain to create its own picture and also allows me to insert a male (or female) lead of my own to make the situation better. Now, personalized porn is a different story…if it’s someone I know has taken photos specifically to turn ME on…that’s the hottest thing there is.
Bonus (as in optional):Do you know the whereabouts today of the first person with whom you had sex?
Well, the first guy I hooked up with is now engaged, has a dog, and own a condo somewhere in Connecticut.
