a pleasant itch

after many weeks of being a combination of busy and lazy, i finally got around to shaving again. when i take such long breaks between shavings, it often becomes a two day production of the initial trim and then another round to get the tiny hairs gone. i also don’t live alone, so the cleanup is a bit of a bitch. who really wants to get in the shower and find all kinds of tiny hairs all over the place? especially when they’re not yours…

well, i finally got down to it the other day and was as smooth as a baby’s butt. the upkeep, as i’m sure any lady who’s shaved her nether regions can attest to, is a bit annoying at times, but for me, it’s a great feeling and makes my getting off that much more fun.  i have these tiny little hairs as it grows back to gently remind me of the party going on below with every movement i make.  sure there are times i’d prefer not to be reminded, like in a meeting with colleagues where we’re discussing very serious issues…or on the phone with my mother.  but those other times, when i’m just sitting alone at my desk yet unable to reach down and touch…it’s like a twenty-four hour, built-in, all-day-long tease.

and it makes the getting off that much sweeter when i do…
